History

Navis formally integrated ESG into its investment process in 2004, reflecting our belief that sustainable practices drive long-term value creation.

As part of this commitment, we developed a comprehensive ESG framework to assess and monitor environmental and social impacts across our portfolio companies. This framework is aligned with international standards, such as the UN Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI).

Today, Navis is committed to be Paris-aligned. In 2023, we embarked on the journey of adopting ISSB Guidelines by 2025. We launched our Climate Risks and Opportunities Policy to ensure a comprehensive understanding and integration of the relevant physical and transition risks and opportunities across our investment processes and portfolio companies.

We continue to engage with investors on ESG and sustainability topics and our portfolio companies through regular training and events, such as our annual ESG and Sustainability Conference. Navis is part of the Singapore Venture Capital Association’s ESG and Impact Committee and is actively involved in various stakeholder engagements.
